COMMITTEES
Sixteen committees offer members the opportunity to serve as important liaisons with other professionals and the general public. NCACPA committees and the board of directors interact with the AICPA, NC State Board of CPA Examiners, Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Internal Revenue Service, and other bodies that shape state and national standards.
Financial Literacy
The Financial Literacy Council (Members Only page) will lead the profession’s efforts in raising the financial education of North Carolina high school and college students by mobilizing its members, utilizing resources and materials available to CPAs, and leveraging partnerships with like-minded organizations.
